We started our new Geology unit on Earthquakes and Volcanoes. We started with a lab activity looking at the fossil records of 5 different continents. From this students concluded that at one time all of the continents must have been connected and had similar climate.
We also took notes about the evidence for plate tectonics. The last 25 minutes of the class we watched more of the Inside Planet Earth video.
