Checkpoint Quiz and Treasure Hunt

I checked the homework and Blue Stuff lab and we discussed it briefly.  We also reviewed metric conversion and began the Treasure Hunt activity.  Most of the period was spent taking the checkpoint quiz and correcting it.  At the end of the period we watched the Scientific American Frontiers episode Beyond Science.  Here is a small clip showing how a double blind controlled study can disprove the technique of dowsing for water.
